Web Geek Unleashed

I love web design. It brings together everything I know about copywriting, layout, graphics, video and marketing – all in one self contained package.
But I haven't always been a geek – this is a video I found at the back of my cupboard from my travels in 1990/1.
The first jump was from the birthplace of Bungy, the Kawarau bridge outside Queenstown, a 160ft drop.
The second jump was at Skippers Canyon, an old gold mining bridge in the middle of nowhere, only accessible by 4 wheel drive. It's a 240ft drop – the same as jumping off the 20th floor. Before the rope kicks-in you get up to terminal velocity 120mph.
Your life doesn't flash before your eyes – the sides of the canyon walls do, and the ground rushes up in slow motion.
I screamed.
